MASTER DEGREE

 

NTUU KPI educational system makes graduate study a truly unique experience Almost 90% of faculty and staff have scientific degrees. The mix of cultural diversity and intellectual rigor together with the wide array of other activities, in which graduates take part, is an essential part of NTUU KPI.

 

Master Degree is a graduate academic degree awarded for completed courses of special professional knowledge and innovative skills, ability to use these knowledge and skills to produce new ideas, and to fulfill innovative professional tasks in the certain branch of economy, science, and engineering.

 

The credit based modular learning system has been implemented at NTUU KPI. Credit is a conditional unit to measure the study intensity of the certain part of university curriculum. The credit score contains 35 academic hours of student’s study.

Each academic week corresponds to 54 hours of student’s study, or to 1.5 credits.

The term of Master Degree study is 1 year and 10 months that is equal to 120 credits.

 

All international students who come to study at NTUU KPI are offered one academic year of intensive study of Ukrainian or Russian Language, which will be the main language of teaching, as well as a possibility to improve their knowledge of main subjects according to the future Degree, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, etc., at the Preparatory School of NTUU KPI.

 

International students can get Master Degree studying in Ukrainian or Russian within any Academic Program.

 

International students can get their Degree studying in English only within following academic programs: 2.1. Aircrafts and Helicopters; 10.1. Aircraft Control Systems; 15.1. Computer Systems and Networks; 16.1. Intelligent Decision Making Systems, 29.2. Electronic Systems; 30.1. Mechanical Engineering Technology; 70.1. Control and Automation Systems; and 72.2. Telecommunication Systems and Networks.

 

Enrollment Requirements

 

Admission to the Master Degree program requires Bachelor Degree with sufficiently high grades. An applicant is supposed to have 2 tests in one of the languages either Ukrainian, Russian, or English, and in the core subject of specialization with sufficiently high grades.

All applicants shall submit an Application, and copies of Passport, Diploma/Certificate, and Transcript translated either in Ukrainian, Russian, or English.

APPLICATION

 

To apply to NTUU KPI you must fill in an online Application. Besides the Application Form, you should submit the copies of your Passport, Diplomas/Certificates, and Transcripts translated either into Ukrainian, Russian, or English.

 

To fill in the online Application Form you need to know:

- the Degree you plan to receive; details can be found in the Degree section;

- the Specialization you plan to receive; details can be found in the Academic Programs section;
- the Institute or College you plan to study in;
- the source of funding.

 

You will be asked to open an online account before completing your Application.
