The main library at the University is

 

Denisenko Science and Technical Library of NTUU KPI

 

The Library is named after Grigoriy Denisenko, the former rector of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute who has organized the construction of the current library building that occupies a huge area of 14 thousand square meters. Beyond the stylish and comfortable design, Library offers an impressive collection developed for over a century since 1898.

 

The collections in the library includes the professional literature on

- Aerospace Engineering, - Astronomy, - Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, - Bioengineering, - Civil Engineering, - Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, - Chemistry and Biochemistry, - Computer Science, - Economics, - Electrical Engineering, - Environmental Engineering, - Humanities, - Mathematics, - Mechanical Engineering, - Materials Science and Engineering, - Law, - Physics, - Social Sciences, - Statistics, - Earth and Space Sciences, and other fields of research and technology, and target the undergraduate and graduate curriculum in all disciplines, as well as autobiography, fiction, poetry, etc.

The Library services are designed to meet the needs of research and student communities, and the staff has built a reputation for providing the best services.

How to become an STL member:

 

Students should bring their Student's ID Cards to the Registration Desk located on the first floor.

 

University Employees should bring their Passports and Employment Certificates signed and sealed in the Human Resources Office.

Since 1994 the Goethe Institute from Germany works at the University STL Library offering German language courses, acquaintance with history, science, culture and traditions of the German people. Goethe Institute has its own good library.
