INTERNATIONAL FACULTY
One of the main areas of international activity of our University is teaching of future professionals from many foreign countries. More than 6000 international students from 112 countries have got their Degree at NTUU KPI. Among them one can find ministers, diplomats, cosmonauts, prominent scientists and researchers in different spheres of science and technology, and prominent businessmen. NTUU KPI is famous for its academic excellence. At the University international students get Diploma Degrees of international standard that are recognized all over the world.
Since 1992 the Preparatory School helps international students to get ready for the study in Ukrainian universities. During the academic year international students study Ukrainian or Russian languages, and advanced courses of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics, etc.
To improve the preparation systems of international students in 2005 the International Faculty was established as a part of the Preparatory School. International Faculty includes Ukrainian and Russian Languages Department, Language Preparatory School, Fundamental Subjects Department, Natural Science Subjects department, and Economics department. We are proud of our professor faculty. The dean of the International Faculty is D.Sc., Prof. Anna Grigor’evna Vlasyuk.
International students can get a Degree in any Major studying in Ukrainian or Russian by their choice. International students can get their Degree studying in English only within following academic programs: 2.1. Aircrafts and Helicopters; 10.1. Aircraft Control Systems; 15.1. Computer Systems and Networks; 16.1. Intelligent Decision Making Systems, 29.2. Electronic Systems; 30.1. Mechanical Engineering Technology; 70.1. Control and Automation Systems; and 72.2. Telecommunication Systems and Networks. International Faculty offers post-graduate studying. Since 1992 over 300 international students from 4 continents have got post-graduate degree in our University.
Teaching international students our University is closely collaborating with Higher Education Council of Turkey, Main Company of Oil and Gas "Petrovietnam", company "Interbudmontazh" from Turkmenistan, and many other institutions and companies. International Faculty actively communicates with Alumni Association of Poland, Morocco, Jordan, and other countries.
An integral part of International Faculty’s activity is visa support for international students studying at NTUU KPI. International Faculty actively communicates with embassies, representatives of foreign countries, and foreign citizens who intend to study or improve their professional level at NTUU KPI. This helps to achieve University’s integration into international and European academic and research spheres. International Faculty is engaged into system making for operational development of information field as an update mechanism for international activity spread.
Every year General Catalogue of NTUU KPI is renewed in English and distributed.
International Faculty assists student’s authorities, improves system of international activity, and contributes to the whole democratic international student’s society.
